How to Make Sugar Free Cookies

Keto sugar-free chocolate chip cookies are easy to make. For this recipe, you will use a few staple Keto ingredients, coconut flour, almond flour, and butter.

And then to keep these sugar free cookies, you’ll replace regular sugar with Lakanto Golden Monk Fruit Sweetener (a natural Keto friendly brown sugar replacement) and a Lily’s Dark Chocolate Bar chopped up for the chocolate chips.

To start, set six ounces of Kerry Gold grass-fed butter on medium-low in a medium sauce. You’ll want to scrap the bottom with a spatula every once in a while to be sure no butter burns on the bottom of the pan. The butter will start to bubble a little and turn a golden brown color, which is your sign to remove it from the heat and let cool.

In the meantime, in a small mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients, almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, salt and sift it all together.

In a medium mixing bowl combine the butter and Lakanto Golden monk fruit sweetener. Once the sweetener/ butter mixture is room temp, add the eggs and mix it all up.

Then combine both mixtures until well incorporated. Chop a Lily’s Dark Chocolate bar sweetened with stevia and chop it into small chunks and add to the batter.

Prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper and portion out 18 cookies. The cookies will not change shape like regular cookies, so whatever shape you put them in the oven is the same shape they will be when you pull them out.

Finally, bake your Keto Coconut Flour Sugar-Free Cookies for 10-12 minutes at 350 F and sprinkle with sea salt as soon as you take them out of the oven.

If you try to eat them right away, they will fall apart, but if you are patient and let them cool completely then you will have the perfect Keto chocolate chip cookies!

There aren’t many sugar-free chocolate chip options out there. Most of them have maltodextrin or Splenda chocolate chips yuck! What I like to use are Lily’s Dark Chocolate Bars that are sweetened with stevia, cut the bar into chunks and use that in place of chocolate chips!

How to cook Coconut Flour Sugar-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Add butter to a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally, once the butter starts bubbly and turns golden brown remove from the heat.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine Almond Flour, Coconut Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt
  3. In a medium bowl add Lakanto Golden Monk Fruit and the butter. Once the mixture has cooled to room temperature add the eggs and mix well.
  4. Then add the coconut and almond flour mixture until well combined
  5. Place in fridge to cool to a temp where the chocolate will not melt
  6. While cooling chop Lily's chocolate bar into small chunks, preheat oven to 350 and prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
  7. Remove chilled mixture from fridge and add in the  chocolate chunks and vanilla extract
  8. Portion batter into 18 cookies on baking sheets
  9. Flatten the cookies as they will retain their shape even after baking.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes
  11. Sprinkle each cookie with sea salt
  12. Cookies will be very very soft out of the oven, but once they are completely cool they will retain normal cookie texture.
