Best Keto Frozen Pizza Dinners - Low Carb Chicken Pizza Crust

When I stumbled upon a Keto Friendly Pizza in the frozen aisle, I was first like “hell yea!” Then I was super skeptical!

A low carb frozen pizza? This is either going to be a life changer or a complete disappointment, but it was worth a try.

After all one of the things I crave the most since starting a Keto diet menu is pizza, but most low carb pizza crust recipes seem like a lot of work considering the cravings usually kick in on lazy Friday nights.

What is Real Good Foods?

Real Good Foods Pizza crust is made with all natural REAL chicken and parmesan cheese, which was a relief because I’m generally suspicious of frozen meals due to strange ingredients added to preserve the food.

However, Real Good Foods has no ingredients you can’t pronounce and is:

  • grain free

  • gluten free

  • non-GMO

  • chicken raised with no Hormones or antibiotics

  • all natural ingredients

I mean a frozen Keto pizza doesn’t get much better than that!

There are 8g carbs per frozen pizza, which is a little higher than I typically like for one meal, however, for a super easy Keto dinner it’s not bad at all.

Especially since I still feel like I’m ‘treating’ myself to a pizza since they’re so yummy.

Real Good Foods personal size pizzas with a chicken crust are available in 3 different toppings cheese, pepperoni and supreme.

The supreme is my favorite with a few drizzles of ranch on top. Please tell me I’m not the only person who dips her pizza in ranch?

Recently, Real Good Foods has come out with a cauliflower crust pizza, which I’m dying to try the margarita Cauliflower Crust Frozen Pizza.

These come in family size, and as soon as I try them I will update the post for ya!

The Best Way to Cook Keto Frozen Pizzas

We have been playing around with the different ways Real Good Foods suggests cooking the chicken crust pizzas, and our favorite way is on the grill.

It’s seriously amazing, gives the pizzas this extra flavor, creates the perfect crisp on the crust and lightly browns the top too.

1. TO GRILL YOUR PIZZAS: From frozen, remove the cardboard and plastic wrapping, then place Real Good Pizzas directly on the grill for about 6-8 minutes on medium heat.

My second favorite is cooking the frozen pizzas in the air fryer. The air fryer really gives the pizzas perfectly browned cheese and toppings.

2. TO AIR FRY YOUR PIZZAS: Remove the cardboard and plastic, set the air fryer to 350 degrees and cook for about 12 minutes or until pizza cheese is golden brown.

The last option is to bake your Real Good Pizzas.

3. TO BAKE YOUR PIZZAS: Preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes. When I baked my frozen pizza, I then threw it in a frying pan for a few minutes to get the crust a little crispier.

Microwaving is an option, but I honestly wouldn’t go as far as saying I suggest making it this way, because it causes the cheese to kind of melt all over the plate instead of the pizza and the crust turns out a little too soft for me.

But if you are in a real hurry and have to throw it in the microwave it is still flavorful and delicious.

Where to buy Real Good Foods Frozen Pizzas?

We have been able to find the chicken crust personal size frozen pizzas at Food Lion, CVS, Walmart, Harris Teeter and Kroger, however, some of these stores we have only been able to find the pepperoni pizzas, which like I mentioned you’re definitely going to want to give the supreme a try (trust me).

After discovering we could order Real Good Foods online, we just place one big order and stock up.

I recently became a Real Good Foods affiliate, because I’ve never come across a product that makes Keto so easy. Plus grain free, gluten free and all natural are must-haves for my keto diet menu and I have yet to find any other quick frozen meals that I’d proudly recommend.

I love having these in our freezer, because sometimes life gets busy, and the last thing I want to do is spend an hour making dinner. Real Good Foods meals have saved us from settling for a fast, non-Keto friendly meal many times.

if you order Real Good Foods online use code MERMAID for an additional 10% off.

At our local stores the frozen Keto pizzas typically cost around $6.99. Online they cost $6.67-$8.99 per box depending on how many boxes your order, but ordering Real Good Foods online comes with some serious benefits:

  • you can order a better variety to try- jalapeno poppers, personal pizzas, family size cauliflower crust pizzas, and enchiladas

  • Real good Foods offers 2 Day FREE shipping Nationwide

  • Delivers your frozen meals right to your door in a temporary cooler

so it’s totally worth it in my opinion! Especially since we eat these for quick dinners several times a week.

Oh and do yourself a favor and add some of the Real Good Foods Beef Enchiladas to your order as well. We haven’t found these in any of our local stores, but after ordering them online recently I’m beginning to think the enchiladas with a scoop of sour cream are my favorite real good foods meal, even more than the pizzas, but shhhh.

A few nights ago we only had one pizza and one thing of enchiladas left, but “I took one for the team” and had the enchiladas so my husband could have the last pizza. #winning
