Keto Instant Pot Chili Recipe No Beans

I’m loving my Ninja Foodi because it does pretty much everything besides dice everything up, If only…lol

The Ninja Foodi is a Instant pot/pressure cooker, steamer, air fryer, dehydrator, broiler, slow cooker and as you will see in this recipe if you have things that need to be sautéed prior to pressure or slow cooking you can do it right in the Ninja Foodi instead of having to dirty up another pan over on the stove top.

In fact, I recently donated my air fryer, veggie steamer and rice cooker, which made for a lot of extra space in my small pantry!

What really blows my mind is that we are about to make flavor-packed chili in 10 minutes…

How to Make Easy Chili in an Instant Pot

First, dice up your onion, green pepper and mince your garlic if you don’t have already minced garlic on hand.

Set your instant pot to Sauté, medium-high heat and add your onion, garlic, green pepper, one tablespoon of avocado oil and sauté for about 2 minutes.

Then you will add in the ground beef, preferably Organic Grass-fed Beef.

Ground beef is one of those things you really should splurge and go organic, because any growth hormones, antibiotics or who knows what else the cow is given, you are now consuming.

I’ve written an entire guide on Buying Organic, so you can see what foods are essential to buy organic, and which foods you don’t need to bother buying organic. You can check it out here.

Along with the ground beef, add in all your dry seasonings to the instant pot; salt, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, chili powder, and cumin. Stir it all up and sauté until the ground beef is browned.

Now, drain the two cans of fire roasted diced tomatoes, add them to your Ninja Foodi along with the green chilies and freshly squeezed lime juice. Give it another stir before adding the bay leaves.

Put the lid on your instant pot/ Ninja Foodi, switch it to pressure cook, and cook on high for 10 minutes.

At the end of the 10 minutes let it sit for about 5 minutes, so it naturally releases the pressure. Then switch the vent knob over to vent. Be careful it will be hot!

Let all the steam vent out before removing the lid, and you’re ready to enjoy!

What to Serve with Keto Instant Pot Chili

Ok and seriously take my advice on this one... you also need to make these Cheddar Biscuits or Keto “cornbread” to go along with your bowl of chili!

This chili makes for a perfect Keto friendly, yet kid/husband approved dinner or easy meal prepped lunches that you can make Sunday night, portion out so you can grab and go on your way out the door each morning!
